I appreciate the extension and opening the first set of GAs, a great deal. One of them is on my wishlist. I'm hoping I can unlock the others as well, but I'm not making any progress.
I see the obvious thing in the updated hint, but I don't see how it applies to the puzzle, maybe I'm missing some second part of it? I get hints 1 and 4. And the spoiler text length matches the expectation I get from hint 1, so I assume that's the length of what I'm looking for here. But I'm not sure about hint 3. If it applies to this first step, do I use it or the spoiler text (and would I treat that text as numbers, or initials for some certain words)? And where do I start looking in the post -- at the very beginning, or "To be..."?
Those are just the issues I'm having. Feel free not to answer any of them, or the ones that give too much away. Sorry I'm so slow at this puzzle.

I can only say you're on the right track, but please refrain from posting more of your thoughts about the subject. The current ones sum up the hints very well, so they're fine. At the same time you're really close and might give the solution even without knowing it.
A tiny hint - think of applying both the spoiler text and hint 3. I think it's the missing link you are looking for.

Sorry to hear that. Without knowing what have you tried already I could only guess based on your description. It seemed you knew what you were looking for but couldn't decipher it as you mentioned hint 3. I hope the newest hint will make this step at least a bit easier

The puzzle duration will be extended for a week. You still have chance to solve it :)
If there won't be many solvers I'll add hints later. But with a week extra I'll give everybody a chance to work something out of the current tips. They already contain everything you need

Treasure moved to another location. I still need to hide something nasty for those who manage to reach the treasure island, but the original treasure is already hidden in a new spot. GAs recreated, reward for reaching the second stage will be added later
You have an extra week to reach the treasure island, find the spot and dig out the treasure.
As there's a whole week to solve the puzzle I cleaned up the hints a bit as during the last 3 hours of the original period they were almost pointing to the solution. Addition of new ones will depend on the progress.

As for the extra prizes for passing stage 1 - they were added yesterday in the morning, so you must have missed the update. But don't worry, there will be new ones added there to replace them

Hmmm bump. I feel a bit stupid, it's almost spelled out how to do the 1st part of this puzzle but I am still a bit stuck. I though I learned how to read but letters seem a difficult thing, maybe I take a break and come back later and it will come to me. I do know what I am looking for though.

First 5 should be easily googlable solely by the theme, 3 next are quite well known titles, classics I would say. While making the puzzle I checked and simply rephrasing the questions should be sufficient to find the answers even without hints

Unskilled I may be, but I still decided to take another attempt at puzzle making.
This time the main theme will be pirates and treasures
To be honest I'm not sure why I've chosen such a topic.
Sometimes the first though is simply the best choice if you're lacking ideas
With that said it's high time for the puzzle
Preferred way of solving it is solo, but any pirate themed hint will be allowed
