Riddle me this: If the Xbox One is dubbed the XBone, if you post penises, doesn't that mean you approve of it ?

You leave Hodor out of this. He hasn't done anything.
Try Patchface the mindless jester as the Xbone. The who lost his mind at sea if you've read the books.

Ah well. (It doesn't really spoil anything) but Patchface was a clever and funny jester-slave who ended up spending 3 days at sea after a shipwrecking and went mad. Patchface ends up entertaining Stannis Baratheon's daughter Shireen (the girl with the greyscale patch on her face) during the books, but I don't think he is in the TV series.

You do know, that you never own games, right? Not on Xbox One, not on PS4, not on PC, not on all those consoles before PS4 and XBO...

But... you can play all of those games forever since you just need a console and their disk (excluding PC). Xbox One games need an activation, once MS shuts down the service of the Xbox One = all gone.
Things like steam are different and it sucks that you cant resell or trade your games but they have a good counter parts: Cheaper games (ability to buy from third party sellers), free online gaming, devs dont need a publisher, mods and other user created content, not required to activate your games every 24 hours (ability to play offline for a pretty long time). Xbox One just adds an annoying DRM and offers nothing to make up for it :/

This is true, but you still don't own the games
What you're saying is also true for multiplayer games and for games with their own DRM-system, so it will also happen on PS4

Most games won't have a 'forced to activate online every 24 hours' thing anyway, excluding some DLC/MP (a MP dies anyway excluding some rare gems) but your SP games will always be playable. We can't be sure about that for Xbox One games. Maybe they offer BC on their next gen/cloud service but somehow I doubt it.

I can understand that fear, but it could also happen that MS provides an offline patch before taking that service down. At least that's what we all hope Valve would do

True. Few more years and we'll know how MS and Sony will handle it I suppose.
Kinda forgot about the XBLA/PSN games so we have to see what Sony/MS does with that :P
And Steam... I'm afraid of Gaben dying, they might sell it to EA! (shutting down servers for 2 year old games, assholes) :x

To be honest, this is now even more stupid than the Xbox one, it's childish and dumb.
What's still funny is Microsofts answer to them:
"To all of our ASCII loving Facebook fans and followers here’s a tribute to some of our favorite faces from E3 last week. Can you guess all three?" Pic
