I decided to take advantage of Crunchyrolls get a free LootCrate when you subscribe to the 30 day trial.

So now I have 30 days of premium animes and no clue what to watch.

I had a look at the most popular, the first being Naruto which I have 0 interest in.
The second was Food Wars. So I thought, eh why not only to discover this show started out with a girl orgasming over food and then being molested by a squid. Not my cup of tea. :s

It's been a while since I've watched anime so I'm really out of the loop.
Shows I remember enjoying: Mushishi, Nana, InuYasha, Cowboy Bebop, Azumanga Daioh, pretty much everything Ghibli. There's more but it really has been a while.
So anyone got any recommendations? It doesn't have to be anime, crunchyroll seems to have a bunch of other stuff.

If others were interested in the free lootcrate deal, here's the reddit link I found it on:
https://www.reddit.com/r/freebies/comments/3joknp/get_your_first_box_of_lootcrate_free_when_you/
If this isn't allowed I'll remove it. O_O

And a train for those who are addicted to the +1

And why it's so free?

LootCrate is unsold mechandised boxed up in a mysterious way and they ask you to pay up front for it without knowing what the contents are.
Like Groupees do with their bundles now.
It's not worth paying for imo but a free one, yes please!

No, it's a physical product. You get an assortment of "geek stuff" with a unifying theme

Well, my friend recommended me High School DXD

EDIT: F*ck them. I was registering, I gave them my PayPal info, and now they say, that I'm not eligible, because I already had a 30 day trial. I read that Hotmail users won't get the code, so I registered through Gmail. I did the registration, and all, but now they say that I already had a 30 day free subscription. Well I guess i'll send them a mail :/.

Note to myself: Don't forget to cancel the free trials.

Just watch the first episode. If it doesn't persuade you, then you need the Sexy Girls Bundle :D

Since you watched InuYasha I'd recommend Ranma 1/2. It's by the same creator and I'd say it's the best comedy ever. :D

PS: For some reason they called the show just "Ranma" in that website without the "1/2" (and they don't have the Manga at all). Looks like they suck at writing symbols like '/' in their titles. XD

Probably something to do with coding the slashes if anything?

Disclaimer: I know very little about coding.

Maybe. That slash is a pretty commonly used symbol when dealing with text so if they didn't put a way to get around it (or don't know how to do that) they'd be stuck.
Disclaimer: I don't know anything about coding websites either.

Anyway, give Ranma 1/2 a look if you're interested in a lighthearted comedy with the occasional action. ;)

You should definitely watch both seasons of Kaiji as someone has already suggested, it's great. And if you liked Mushishi, there are more seasons now (and they're as good as the first one), so you should catch up. I don't know if it's available on CR, but look for Mononoke (just Mononoke, not Princess Mononoke). It's very similar to Mushishi - no fanservice and MC is a traveling apothecary who deal with strange things by investigation and other methods, not by actually fighting them.
Baccano! is a show somewhat similar to Cowboy Bebop - it's a classy action show without forced fanservice and with a lot of interesting non-archetypical characters.
Monster is an awesome criminal fiction.
If you like fantasy, the best shows are: Record of Lodoss War (the 13 episodes one), Seirei no Moribito and Berserk.
Legend of Galactic Heroes is the best anime space opera, but it's 110 episodes long.
Usagi Drop is a slice of life series about a guy who suddenly has to look after a little girl. It's super-cute.
Rainbow - dark thing about some young guys in a prison. Takes place after the WWII.
For some comedy, watch Excel Saga and Detroit Metal City.

Also try these: Mawaru Penguindrum, Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita, Fate series (Fate/Stay Night, then Fate/Zero), Uchouten Kazoku, Zetsuen no Tempest, Shinsekai Yori, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

I thoroughly enjoy my crunchyroll subscription. There are too many shows to recommend though!
Even with your list of shows you enjoyed, I'm not sure what to suggest.

If you toss a specific genre and length you are looking for I can probably be more help ;)
(and thanks for the train)

Short-medium?
Not to picky on genres.
Pandering to fanservice kept at a minimum? :)
Girls who aren't completely brain dead are also a bonus. haha

I think I got plenty to keep me going for much longer than the sub lasts though. >_<;
