Well i have a regular ping of 275 to US servers, and an avg of 75/80ms to my country, as for your speed.....you should pick up the phone and start cursing.

I am currently on a one megabit satellite internet connection. The signal needs to travel 45000 miles round-trip to get to the satellite and back, which results in a total latency of about 1.2 seconds. Even though it's useless for gaming, that fact that it can cross that entire distance in that small amount of time is amazing. The fact that we can do this with our technology is absolutely wondrous.
