Good Controller-Needed Games?

Fighting games, Racing games, Platform games, Darksiders 1 & 2, Assassin's Creed series, etc. For games like Assassin's Creed series is not really needed, but I find it better with controller, I react faster, same for Risk of Rain, and more others, in games like GTA IV, is better for driving and fighting, but not for shooting or moving camera.

Games that really need a controller are the bold text ones I highlighted, and also other games bad optimized for keyboard and mouse like Darksouls, Darksiders 1. You can also use both controller and keyboard/mouse in some games, depending what you're doing.

Any platformer (Super Meat Boy, Super Electronic Joy, Braid, Shank, Trine); Tomb Raider Anniversary, -Legend, -Underworld; and i also like to play sandbox tps' with it too, like Saint's Row, or Mafia 2. And ofc FIFA.

I didn't enjoy Red Faction: Guerrilla at all until I started using a controller. On foot, keyboard+mouse are fine, but the vehicles controlled terribly with a keyboard. I suppose that's usually true for most sandbox games, but something about the handling was just too much and completely ruined it. But with a controller, it was glorious!

Metal Slug 3. Keyboard just feels weird.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

Metal Gear Rising, as you mentioned, as well as DaS. I would add most racing games, DMC 4 (not the new DmC: Devil May Cry, because that's not worth playing with or without controller), and Fairy Bloom Freesia.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons would be brutal without a controller IMO.
Castle Crasher tooltips show up as xbox keys even without a controller plugged into the system, so I pretty much consider that a controller only game (not sure about BBT).
Dead Space is another horribad port, I didn't play it much but I couldn't continue without using a controller past the first few minutes.

Most indie platformers on Steam. They're perfect for game controller.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Played deathmatch 1 hour and got around 10 kills....

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, Steam even says so. I'd assume Dark Souls 2 as well.

Xbox 360 Controller

pretty much anthing but FPS and RTS games.

Go for Dark Souls or Dark Souls 2 (doesn't matter wich game you start), both of them are great enough for hundreds of hours. People consider the first one a better game (worst pc port ever seen, but there are mods to fix those problems), but the second one is better optimized for PC (60 fps).
