Programs to screen-share your games with friends?

Lets say I want a friend online to see my screen and hear my game as I play it.

Is there a program that lets you do that without a major lag? (broadcasting softwares online usually have a 30 second lag or so).

I know theres skype screen share but it has no sound.

Anyone knows of a program for that?

we tried team viewer and it was kind of laggy and sound didn't work, is there a special feature for that in there?

Hamachi doesn't have a screensharing feature, it's a completely different kind of program.

There's no better program than Teamviewer, but you would have to play the game windowed and your friend should stream in black and white for the best results.

First I thought of is live stream server, but you mentioned delay. Teamviewer is too bad for streaming. I had tried Splashtop streaming on LAN and it work great with sound. 100Mb/s LAN stream game from my bro's laptop to my PC screen and play RE6 split screen (you know, 14" laptop, I just stream it to my computer's monitor)
Not sure about online, though. OpenVPN might do the trick,

Well, this is for LAN. I'm not quite sure how to set up for internet OpenVPN.
So, from the link. Scroll down to the bottom.

  1. Get the app. This is viewer app. install it for ur phone/pc
  2. Streamer. This is for host PC, broadcasting PC
  3. Just create some account there and login to both viewer and streamer. Connect (Before that, you might want to right click at computer in ths list, edit, and change resolution)

Skype's share screen. Yes you can have sound, but you may not be able to use the mic. Find a tutorial on google or YouTube on how to record sound from pc instead of mic. Can't explain now 'cause I'm using my phone. But it's something related to stereo sound or something. Good luck.

It does not matter actually.
You stream to a twitch server, which basically then does all the load balancing and other stuff and streams to all broadcast clients.
Streaming to 1 user or 1 milion makes no difference TO YOU.

Evolve has screensharing now I think.

Or Open Broadcaster Software ,which is pretty good for videogame streaming, http://obsproject.com/index

Otherwise try some streaming service ( like twitch ) on private.

Use Skype screen sharing + Virtual Audio Cable for sound!
HOW TO:

  1. Download, unzip, install with setup.exe - as always.
  2. Open Control panel that has been installed.
  3. In "Drive parameters" category set "Cables" to "2" and click "Set".
  4. Close Control panel.
  5. Set "Line 1" as default Windows speaker.
  6. Open Audio Repeater.
  7. Set "Line 1" as "Wave in".
  8. Set "Line 2" as "Wave out".
  9. Click "Start".
  10. Open second Audio Repeater (keep both opened).
  11. Set your mic as "Wave in".
  12. Set "Line 2" as "Wave out".
  13. Click "Start".
  14. Open Skype and set "Line 2" as default mic.

Tadaaa! You're done with the sound. Maybe it seems complicated, but it's not actualy. You can use Virtual Audio Cable to stream music
or do similiar audio stuff too! :P
