Good day guys

There was this game I played with my cousins when I was a kid (2000-2010 ish). Multiple people played on a single PC and you were a certain colour of (sand?). You could move around and the goal was to take over the map using your colour sand. I have tried searching in depth for it before with no success. Today I realised that perhaps one of you might know. Thanks!

You started with a set amount of sand and you needed to take over other player's sand to get more and win the game.

It's Liquid War

Ooh, this looks close, but not it. In mine the sand moves around freely on the map. There was tons of different maps, all with different shapes and whatnot. But damn, that was a good find for how quick you got it.

I believe it was a windows application, but it was so long ago that I'm really not sure.

Looks cool, but not the one. You only had a set amount of sand and to get sand you had to take over the other player's or computer's (AI) sand.

Oh wow, it is liquid war. From young I always took it to be sand, due to the particles. Thanks man, downloaded and played some already; great game :)
