So I checked the steam chat from the person who I bought some keys from and it was still in the chat log so I recovered the key. I am still curious though if you delete a key on here I'm guessing there is no way to get it back? There should be a confirmation screen asking if you are sure you want to delete the key.

I had them in a notepad but once I made the giveaway and put the key on the giveaway I deleted it off the notepad. From now on when I have keys like that I will keep them on the notepad until the giveaway is over. I did not realize it is that easy to delete a key on accident on here.

in ESGST there's Delete Key Confirmation (link) which "Shows a confirmation popup if you try to delete a giveaway's key(s)"
it really should be implemented in SG, imo.
so, Cole420, the only safe way to handle keys is what you've said: always keep a key backup -at least- up until the giveaway ends.

A giveaway that I made ended and I went to send the key, but on accident I clicked delete key. Is there any way to recover the key or is it just gone forever now?
