Thread kind of similar to this one but here you just state last season(s) of tv series you've seen. I've seen a few threads like "what tv shows you watch" but they're different. Here you can state what you've seen lately and if you recommend it or not.

I'll start.

Peep Show - Nine Seasons. It's British comedy starring David Mitchell, Robert Webb and Matt King and it's absolutely outstanding. Great humor all around. I wish it had a lot more seasons but everything has to come to an end I guess. Strongly recommended for all comedy lovers.

Fresh Meat - Four Seasons. Another excellent British comedy. It's about a few students living under one roof. Shame it came to an end.

Game Of Thones - Season Six. This show needs no introduction. The latest season was great, a lot better than the fifth one. Last two episodes were directed in an incredible way, pure perfection. Can't wait for another season.

Better Call Saul - Season Two. Better than the first season and more interesting. It's a good Breaking Bad spin-off but not nearly as good as BB. Maybe it's because it's just drama with a hint of comedy instead of drama with a hint of crime keeping you at the edge of your seat the whole time? Anyway, it's worth watching but only for people who've seen BB.

Person Of Interest - fifth and final season was sadly only half the number of episodes and suffered some changes due to the cancellation notice and the pregnancy of one of the cast (but at least it was partly for good news though) but it was still an enjoyable ride and tied things up nicely. yet another great show that met a premature end but at least they did get to give it an end instead of finding out only after filming a cliffhanger

American Horror Story: Hotel - not the best season but still a good one. also nice to see the previous seasons continue to be connected ,although does make for some paradoxical acting for two. every season has to have something particularly silly and this time it's Mister Murder Moustache's silly accent which is only slightly sillier than his moustache (his character, however, is darkly amusing. or amusingly dark possibly). the Ten Commandment Murders are a nice idea, surprising that I haven't seen it in more serial killer stories

I recently watched "You, Me and the Apocalypse". It was absolutely terrible. I am glad it won't be back for a second season.

Just finished watching the first 2 seasons of Gotham on Netflix because my mate wouldn't shut up about it until I did, turned out it was better than I expected and really enjoyed it.

Gotham season 1 - turned out to be better than I expected, and makes for a proper prequel to Batman. Focussing on the maifa/crime families of the early Batman comics helps to give it it's own spin, while the real rogue' gallery also shows up in credible ways. With Owsald "Pengiun" Cobblepot being played as the perfect bridge between the 2 categories of bad guys. Starts off as a minor player in the crime families, but quickly starts working his way around in a way that builds towards to his supervillain status.

iZombie season 1 - started watching because I was bored and this was the fist to show up as "recommended" by Netflix. It became my favorite crime series with supernatural twist before the first episode ended. Fairly novel take on zombies as a whole, the right mix of comedy and drama, and the right casting calls where it matters. (And where it matters is where the zombies that remain intelligent do undergo personality shifts on a regular basis.)

I had no idea it was even a show when it came out and yet it literally fits me perfectly. So ive been on a binge watching session for this show and have absolutely loved it. Although I love it a lot I'm also glad its going to be over in a season because I have so much other things I need to watch/re-watch.

If anime doesn't count, I finished watching Sherlock recently. S1 was great, S2 was good, S3 was meh. Just gets worse and worse.

Jessica Jones - First Season. - Great new Netflix show based on Marvel's comic book. It starts slowly but after a few episodes it really picks up the pace. Great acting, writing, dialogues - everything is top notch here. Recommended and can't wait for season 2.

Narcos - Two Seasons - Great Netflix series, everything is of the highest quality here. If you liked movies like Scarface, Blow, Godfather and so on you will love this.

Stranger Things - First Season - Another great Netflix show but I gotta say after all this praise I expected something a little better.

Ash Vs Evil Dead - First Season - Good old Evil Dead is back, basically. Very good show, gory and fun.
