Not going back to work until the 24th so have quite a bit of time to tackle some games. Just finished Mass Effect 1, although I'm not sure if I want to jump onto the next one yet.. the story was rather bland.

What game should I play next?

View Results
Mass Effect 2
Serious Sam 3:BFE
Trine 2
Farcry 3
Bully: Scholarship Edition
Mount and Blade: Warband

Dang, pretty tied between Trine 2 and Far Cry 3. I'd say Far Cry 3, very good game.

yep clearing the outposts without being spotted is really satisfying because of the bow and suppressors. This gun... . I wish I could DL that gun and the F1 to use in other shooters :(

ME2 is a lot better than ME1, the story moves fast and the characters are great. There is only 1 mechanic in the game I disliked, everything else was fun! Go for it! :D

Bully: Scholarship Edition, of course. :O You've never seen something like that. It's truly original, with funny missions and dialogues, interesting storyline, and you can even write exams. :D And the protagonist is so awesome, having cool NON-deadly weapons, and awesome bikes, motorbikes, and a skateboard. ^_^ It's obvious that you will never see something like that in another game, so you really need to play it. :D

Doesn't it run like shit on PC though? Do I need a controller?

I have no idea about how the pc version runs, played it on the 360 eons ago. I think a controller would be preferable yes.

What? No, of course not. You can play it fine on pc. Bought it ages ago as a hard copy.

Actually Bully in Windows 8.1 and 10 doesn't work that well, a quick look at the reviews will show that.

In steam reviews? Maybe, because I experienced some crashes with the game on steam. But I think it totally depends on your pc. Still, it works fine as a hard copy.

Did you play it in Windows 8.1 or 10? I tried it recently and confirmed what Steam reviews said, couldn't even get past the intro without the game crashing.

Yes, I thought it was obvious when I said that it works fine as a hard copy. I never experienced a black screen. Only some crashes when playing the steam version of Bully, but still, they were rare and not happening right after the intro. As I said, it depends on your pc.

What does the pc have to do with anything? The game is old so I doubt all the people having problems with it and they are plenty having those problems have bad pc's lol I'm just talking about the Steam Version not the retail since don't have that one.

I told you that I can play the steam version with rare crashes. Bully is awesome anyway, so if I didn't a hard copy, I would play the steam version.

Bully is awesome no doubt about it but the port has issues in newer versions of the Windows, that's all I'm saying.

Pc's have different hardware so it is possible the game runs great for one person and like shite for another.

True but that doesn't explain how if you play it (or reverse back to) on Wiindows 7 the game works flawless and as soon as you update to W8.1 or 10 it crashes often.

Yeah there are some good guides to fixing the 30fps lock and getting it smooth on PC. One thing I can't seem to figure out is how to get 1440p resolution working.. everytime I select it in the main menu is crops out like 30% of the screen. 1080p it is I guess.

Dunno, I have 1080p myself. :/

If you think the story was bland in Mass Effect, then you should probably abandon that series, yes.
If you want some mindless fun, Serious Sam is always a good pick though. Especially if you like old-school real first-person shooters. ^_^
Bully is not a bad game, enjoyable, fairly long, but get ready for crashes.

I'd keep Trine 2 to play with friends, don't think it's so funny to play it alone.

Mass Effect 2 is one of my favorite games & is my favorite out of all 3 mass effect games. The third one could have been good if not for that cheesy bloody anime style ninja boss guy & the ending. Yeah the ending of the third one just chucked out the entire point of giving the player choices during the first 2 games. Also I was annoyed that it had ignored my choice to make Shepard's old commander the president in the first game. In the third it was the white guy regardless.
