Reached Steam level 8, no cards from community votes.

So, I helped a friend of mine reach Steam level 8 by giving him cards to craft enough badges to reach level 8 and now that he is level 8 there are no cards from his votes.

Do you know why? Thanks.

Huh, last year i reached 8 by the end of the sale and got my cards, its possible they removed it, sorry.

I had this with my the cards I should have got from my team winning the points - after I voted I received them instantly. I suspect it should work with this as well.

You get a card for every 3 votes, not every single of them.
