It's an extremely moist cake, usually with cinnamon, and I like to frost mine with a (not too sweet) cream cheese frosting. The recipe my mother gave me years ago is actually called "Applesauce Spice Cake". I'll post it later if I remember. :D

OK so I nearly forgot, but here it is. :P
ingredients -
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg (i use a touch more because i like nutmeg)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter - softened
1 cup sugar
(optional) 1/2 cup chopped pecans (i use more of this, too, close to 3/4 cup)
2 cups flour
3/4 cup applesauce
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup whole bran cereal (i use raisin bran and remove the raisins lol)
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs - beaten
- preheat oven to 350F. grease a 9x13 baking pan
- sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
- blend butter and sugar, add eggs and mix well
- add applesauce, vanilla extract, bran cereal. also mix in flour mixture and sour cream. (slowly and mix everything well)
- add the chopped pecans and mix
- pour the batter into the baking pan and bake for 40-45 minutes
toppings -
I like a basic whipped cream cheese frosting (cream cheese, touch of milk, powdered sugar, softened butter, vanilla extract). I eyeball all of this, though, so I don't know exact amounts of each ingredient. :X
alternatively, you can mix up some more chopped pecans (about 1/2 cup), nutmeg & cinnamon (about 1 tsp each) and 3/4 cup brown sugar and sprinkle that across the top of the cake before popping it into the oven. it adds a bit of a sweet "crunch" to the top of the cake.

What's the deal with greenlit games? Most people seem very eager to buy them regardless of their quality

Greenlight bundles are when the game is at its cheapest due to the fact that it is trying to get on Steam and there is no guarantee of getting a steam key (95% they do end up on Steam eventually but there have been games that die in development). Groupees tends to add at least one greenlight game to their bundles, which forces me to buy them :P. Fortunately that isn't the case here, so I can safely pass on it now :D.
And yes, I have issues ;_;.

Cool, we all have our issues and I'd probably be as bad if I had discovered steam earlier. I was quite busy with one of my own "issues" in life :)
Edit: Reading this post again made me realize it could be interpreted as I think that you actually have issues, that is was not my intention just to make it clear :)

Well I've been both a collector and a gamer all my life so it was going to happen eventually :P. Started off with Pokemon cards when it was 6 and from there I moved on to movies, books and coins. Had to sell off most of my coin collection a few years back, which sucked :/.
