Winner already got the game i giveaway...

Hello there, i give away a giftable copy of "Frozen Synapse Prime" that i received after activate the CDKEY i won. Now the problem comes, i go to steam to send the gift copy to him, but steam says he already own the game.

What should i do now? Instant request new winner? Wait the 7 days?

rerolls are usually done pretty fast - depending on time of a day you may wait from few hours to max a day, so you will get your new winner before 7 day period from rules :>

btw, also check with sgtools if he activated all his wins or if he won a game multiple times. http://www.sgtools.info/activation

you can ask rerolls if users don't follow this rule (or just report them for rule breaking).

Talk to him first. Maybe the game was free for a weekend on Steam before and it still says he owns it even though he does not.
If it turns out that he in fact does own the game, then ask for a reroll.

that's a good idea, but for this game there was never a free weekend.
last one was for "frozen synapse" back on april 17th 2014.
