thx a lot Archi... that was a fast response....
I got almost simultaneously a reply from the ga creator... he provided me with another key and it worked... so I guess everything is fine now...
I am thinking and somehow I am worried that this may happen in the future, but with a ga of my creation... do you happen to know if there is a specific provider that is messing something up? It would be devastating for any user reputation if keys just begin disappearing from libraries... O_o
thx again

Mark it as not received also. Bigger chance the creator actually gives a damn. Also check the creator for other possible similarly problematic giveaways, especially on the same game. If nothing is suspicious, then he probably got it on the grey market. It's not unusual that keys bought on G2A get revoked, since many of them were acquired after they "fell off a truck".

Hi guyz!
So I just noticed a message on my steam client saying that a steam code was revoked from my library. Among the reasons they mention is a possible payment error to the third party or a possible problem with how the third party got the key. Any suggestions regarding this? I just checked and I won the key here about 2 months ago (I already contacted the ga creator)
Thx for your comments :)
