curious case of cake

people were saying happy cake day in my comments and I was like, why do they keep saying that.
then I saw a post about cake day and them being on the site for so many years.
i checked my profile and saw, oh that is why, it was my anniversary day on the site. not sure how they knew. (i guess i missed the memo)

so here something short for now and I will have to put a train together soon when I can find time.

They knew because there' a little cake showing up after your name on your cake day!
Probably you missed it because there's nowhere to see it but after your name in your comments!

I haven't had a cake day yet, but when I first started browsing the forum a while ago, I thought: what's wrong with those people and cakes? =o Is it some kind of a local joke? =)

I guess I don't see the cake icon because I use Firefox and the Font Awesome icons shows as broken boxes. Oh well.
