I'd pay 20$ more to get a mouse not as hideous as the advertised one, but the ones you posted look good. Definitely better than thise cringe mice from taiwan.

I ordered my Optical 1000-2400 DPI USB 2.0 Wired Professional Athletics Gaming Mouse on Jul 20th and I got it today.
It looks pretty cool for a 1$ mouse!
But I really need get my hands on the mouse software, because right now the roller doesn't work as it should since the only thing it does is changing the system volume :D
And I would like to reprogram the mouse sensitivity. But... I have no idea how to find that software.
Does anyone know where to find it?

Ok, so I unplugged the mouse and plugged it again and now the roller works fine. It was a little weird issue, I guess there will be more surprises like this one :P

higher DPI is better, you can slow down the cursor in windows if its too fast for you but its more accurate when you set it to higher dpi

you can power down the USB port when the pc is turned off in the BIOS i think

Your USB ports are configured to have power with the computer off. It is normal because a lot of people use their ports to charge phones while the computer is off. Check the BIOS/UEFI to disable it.

So I bought the second one (the blue one) and am using it for nearly a month now I can say it's not too bad for just 2$. It's got just the traditional two click buttons and a really un-slippery mouse wheel which lets you steer with nice precision. The only thing that bugs me about that mouse is that its cable is REALLY short. I had some problems with properly connecting the mouse and still have some movement. It's definitely a mouse better suited for laptops than for desktop PCs. Also note: its 1600 dpi are okay and I have noticed it runs faster than the 1000 dpi mouse I had before, but there are still mice that are better suited. So, I'd recommend this one to anyone who wants to experience the difference to a mouse with less dpi, but if you really want a better mouse for gaming, than aim for one with even more dpi, there are lots of those out there.
Also, I want to say that I bought that one aiming for a better one, I just couldn't work and game with the old one anymore because the mouse wheel was going nuts. I actually just got my 2000 dpi mouse, next is a 4000 dpi one and my end goal is a 8200 dpi mouse :P
So, I think it's a good mouse, but everyone needs to decide for themselves whether it's worth its 2$ for them or not. But I think you can't really do much wrong.

The 2400 DPI model has a short cable too, specially if you have the tower on the floor. There are USB extenders but they'll probably cost more than the mouse itself:

Yeah, I know about those, but I somehow got around with the short cable. Also, since I was already planning on getting other mice, I didn't consider buying one of those for that short period of time :) It'd be useful to anyone who wants to really play with this mouse on a tower PC, though.
