Games you regret stopped playing for awhile?

Skyrim - never finished
Assassin's Creed - got frustrated with the controls not saving / that horrible amount of time it takes to get into / out of the actual game, so I ragequit it for a while
STALKER: SoC - got overwhelmed with how big it is, plan to get back to it some day
Fallout NV - made the mistake of playing the DLCs before beating the main storyline, so I am now basically a god, which takes some of the fun out of it. I'll still go back in and finish it off at some point though
The Witcher - Beat the first two acts, meant to take a short break, never came back. Must rectify this at some point

Any RPG is like this for me. Really hard to start back where you left off after taking a break. Always have to start over.

I wish to come back to every game I haven't completed to its fullest, and that's pretty much all of them.
Especially stuff like Fallout: New Vegas, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect etc.

So many, ADD is not super fun.

The Witcher 2, great game but got distracted with other games for awhile. I'll probably just start over when I eventually get back to it so I can relearn the controls easier.

Prey
Half Life 2 (haven't even started the episodes yet - not bummed because I have 'em to look forward to)
Borderlands (barely started think I stopped because my computer couldn't handle it well enough)
Bioshock (haven't even installed Bioshock 2 yet)
Dead Space (again barely started but because I was fighting with getting the controls right (stupid xbox 360 presets))
F1 2011 (not something that will be finished but I really want to spend more time with it just not acceptable with gamepad and hooking my wheel up is a logistical nightmare right now)

seems I'm not the only one who didn't Finnish skyrim lol fun and dark souls in the same sentence wow that's a first

I have a really bad habit of getting permanently sidetracked over to another game when I'm on a game's last level. The ones I can immediately remember where I'm on the last level are Psychonauts and Cave Story+, but there are definitely more.

Stepmania & O2Jam .. takes awhile to regain my proness.

Binding of Isaac, bought the first day of release, played it 2 months later.

Halo 1 PC

I want (and will) start playing AirMech again. This game is so overlooked. The game took the best of MOBA genre and is still very different. There is one single thing devs need to address - comebacks are extremely hard. Once you start loosing a match, most of the times you can't turn the favor.

Overlord (stopped half way through twice now with this one), The Witcher (due to my indecisiveness on who I should side with), Fable, Titan Quest and Torchlight.

Eh, don't really have too many. Wish I would've played more of Borderlands 2, but not having anyone to play it with kinda knocks down the entertainment factor a bit. Also, a really awesome free indie RPG I found years ago called Everlong - www.nealien.com/Everlong/. I return to it every year and play it for a while, but get stuck about halfway through... Sucks that it's one you can't really pick up midway due to no method of figuring out where you were in the game.

I need to come back to a whole bunch of games. I usually start them and then end up not having time, and when I do have time I just play something in CO-OP or online multiplayer. Just to give examples, Half Life 1&2, Borderlands, Magicka.

Skyrim.

I'd really like to go back and finish up Fallout New Vegas, but it never really feels like the thing to do when I have time to play also I'm so far into the story on that game that I can't exactly remember what I was working toward when I stopped. I'd like to give Dead Island another try. I got into the second act and then lost interest. After an hour or so of Dead Space I gave up on it. I wasn't really getting into it all that well, but I feel like I should at least give it another try.

I now remember one I really wanted to get back to but now can't. I was doing a play through of Dragon Age Origins and I got through that and into Awakenings with a character. At one point in the game I ran into a glitch that made all my best equipment on my main character disappear and the nearest hard save I had was hours before and I didn't feel like going back through what I had just played. The reason I now can't go back is the hard drive that that save was on died and along with it went my various grey wardens(mostly starter character, but still it sucked to lose them) and my original Commander Shepard.

The Witcher(and the Witcher 2), Borderlands 1 & 2, Guild Wars, Skyrim and the list could go on and on. There have been so many games i've wanted to play over time that i would have needed 3-4 clones of myself to get to play them all. There's always something new and shiny that i cant resist trying and i end up abandoning things i was already playing.

Skyrim, Witcher 2, Dishonored, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Alan Wake, The last Alone in the Dark, RE6, Brutal Legend, Enchanted Arms, Lost Odyssee, Persona 4, Yakuza 4, Persona 3, Sakura Wars, Xenosaga, .//hack (all of them), Suikoden, Saga Frontier 1 and 2, Saiyuki Journey to the West... Yeah, there are alot I regret putting off, though many of them are due to me not having means to play them
