Today I decided I had enough and I am not buying or getting any new game for me until I beat 100 games which I collected over sales or bundles, cause I "may play them one day". We all know that is a lie we keep saying to ourselves as excuse when we just want buy more dustcatchers. So here I go with my crusader task and if I fail, I can be publicly ashamed and beaten on streets. You can use that thread as proof to gain reroll in case I win some your giveaway I haven't resistated to enter etc.

I truly admire your determination.
Recently a trainer told my gf that the word "no" gave her dog anxiety so she should find more positive ways to tell her what she shouldn't do.
Well, the word backlog gives me anxiety (when it's about me, not about others) so I decided to use the words "treasure trove" to describe my untouched games. A whole chest of treasures to dive into and enjoy.

In that spirit, I'd recommend these for you to reach into your treasure trove and play. I had a good time with them and they're quite unique:

Bonus play: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales but you may spend more hours than needed just swinging from building to building so be warned.

I'd recommend Resident Evil 7 and Far Cry - Blood Dragon.
I enjoyed Youropa and Guacamelee if you like metroidvania elements.
Chernobylite is good (reviewed it for SGM).
The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante if you don't mind a text-heavy game.
Good luck!

Way action for me, definitely not a game I would like to replay. But story was decent, I was really confused if I am mafia boss with superpowers or patient of asylum. Game was well made and written, but wouldn't say it aged great.

I should do the same. It's more difficult than most people assume it to be, especially since there's that fear of missing out.

As for what game, well Mass Effect™ Legendary Edition is a good pick. Unless you've already beaten the trilogy before and feels a bit odd going back.

It's indeed not as easy as it sounds since as soon as you 'force' yourself to play a game, it can feel heavy and like a real drag while can really ruin your gaming motivation. So it's important to take enough breaks and also if you said yes to a game and it's so bad you don't want to finish it, then better to drop it and move on ^^

Oh yeah! You're spot on on that. I kinda like the idea of someone picking up games for me to beat/complete. It's kinda fun, but it's not for everyone and it definitely feels heavy to just play something you don't like. But I'm pretty sure xxxka got the hang of it and has a good idea what he wanted anyway when he/she bought it or won it.

Of course I have good idea. Every day I am suprised what games I own. I bet everyone of us got at least once absolutely excited about some game in launched bundle realizing on redeem that they already own it. (Absolutely not looking at you, Farmer's dynasty and Life is strange 2).

I've not touched a single Humble Bundle Choice game ever since I started in 2019. So, I am certain I've got a long way to go. I'm just as much tempted just to do that. I've cut down my purchases on Fanatical and IndieGala, but left the Humble Bundle and Bundle Choice as only options. I have lots of games to play and keep me active for years to come.

Well since you've already finished Dead Space, why not start the sequel?
Dead Space 2 improves upon the first by heaps and bounds, with better maneuverability, better action and better scares. It's also a pretty short game compared to a few on your list. Shouldn't take more than 10 hours for you to beat from start to finish. Less, if you get the hang of it faster.

Does it have big unkillable monsters? First game kinda stressed me out as I am not a horror fan.

If I recall correctly almost everything is killable aside from a single enemy that appears near the end of the game, from whom you can only run as it otherwise keeps healing itself.

Kind of like the one in the first game, except there's no propulsion system in the second to incinerate it.

Nothing as big as the leviathan though.

I checked your library and I gotta recommend UNI, not because it's good, but because it is one of the worst games I have ever played in my life. Technically it's meant to be a 2-player party game, but even with one person, it's worth looking at all the horribly designed minigames and try to figure out how that game has 92% positive reviews

I just found this topic and you have been doing great!

Some games that I would suggest since I've enjoyed them are:
Spiritfarer
Smoke and sacrifice
Moonlighter
Figment
Wonder boy: The dragon's trap

Good luck and have fun! 🍀
