Hi there i would like to suggest adding in the options menu the option to change the clock settings to be able to see them as 24 hour clock and pm clock. Because some of us are used to 24 hour clock rather then this pm and am.

Agree. 24h format is much easier to read so I'd change to that too.

It can be confusing for 24h people when crossing 12hr threshold =)

For people who don't have something like pm/am in their first language it can be quite confusing sometimes :)

Nothing hard, but I prefer the 24h.

Seeing 24h format everywhere BUT 1 place is just uncomfortable.

Not according to the international standard - ISO 8601 - which defines Monday as the first day of the week. Seems like the concept of Sunday being the first is mostly popular in Americas whereas Monday wins in Europe and Asia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven-day_week#mediaviewer/File:First_Day_of_Week_World_Map.svg

You do realize that "people just go with monday being the first of the week simply due to convenience" bears more significance than the historical origins of the seven-day week? Calendars were created for convenience, and it's only natural for them to evolve along the way.
Yes, words and names can tell a story, so let us all call this world idiotic and ignorant once again for not keeping September through December aligned with respectively numbered months, since that would have been accurate.

Officially the week starts on Monday, as mentioned by xtmp above. Historically, and customarily in some countries, it starts on Sunday.

Scroll down to Monday or Sunday, second paragraph.

And all I'm saying is that point number 2 is a complete fallacy.
It's not "officially", it's "traditionally". And people aren't supposed to cling to obsolete concepts.

Makes sense.

I also vote that we change the year format from AD to something more historically appropriate, since there are plenty of valid calendar choices which pre-date this relatively new method.

Personally, I'd like to see Steamgifts use the Mayan year annotation, although some old-schoolers may consider it a little bit modern or "trendy".

1 - Civilisation existed long before the birth of Jesus.
2 - The Mayans kicked arse.

When you're creating a giveaway you have options when the giveaway to start and to end. And when you are not familiar with the am/pm clock it's hard for some of us.

Sorry I have question, now it is 12:43 am and next hour will be 1 am ? This is how I see it in creating GA here.
I was thinking, that currently is 12:43 pm and next hour will be 1 am....

In my 24 format that we use, it is currently 0:43 (midnight)

Yes, if it is 12:43 am the next hour will be 1 am. The am and pm switch at the 12, so it goes from 11:59 pm to 12:00 am (23:59 to 00:00) and 11:00 am to 12:00 pm (11:00 to 12:00)
