Temperatures here were more doable than the last weeks with 22°C\71°F and that sounds like a nice trail to do. I did some mountain biking in one of two nearby forests today.

Try this:
Right click the game wit the issue in your steam library and chose and select properties (or it´s called characteristics? Sorry, i use the german Steam Version)In the following window "General" you can deactivate the steam overlay. Just remove the tick. there should not be an ingame chat anymore, just the normal windows steam app.

Regarding the steam issue, you could just unfriend everybody and play SP games. But I have no clue as to a real solution

I probably don't fit your requirements (I wouldnt consider myself a leecher at all but my ratio isn't so great now) so instead, since I can relate to being a student, I just wanted to say those are great giveaways. <3 The games can be great without being triple A. Glad to hear your Steam issue was fixed too. :)

So recently i got some money after working, bought plenty of games be it in steam or other sites. It is worth it :))
So i decided to give out something too, I'm just a student so the game isn't that great so don't mind it.
Also is there any method to solve this issue where steam keep crashing whenever someone message me on steam
