My computer died two years ago ever since it has been sitting in my basement eating dust I rma-ed everything i could ia m not sure if the parts still works as it has been two years and they are just eating dust in the basement but I believe they should work

The list of parts I have is CPU: Fx 8350 | Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 (rev 1.1) still works but is a crappy motherboard i would like to replace | Ram: Corsair Vengence 8GB DDR3 | Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5 | HDD: 1 TB samsung

I finally managed to save enough money to build it again
I would like you guys to suggest me a new Power supply unit and a cpu cooler probably some water cooler and a new motherboard and a case!

My budget is around 540$ USD I live in India so I would request you guys to suggest me something i can buy in India thank you

PSU probably some nice company i am thinking Seasonic is nice had coolermaster before sucked.
Motherboard I have no idea please help

Do you guys think it is still worth fixing it? the parts were good when i bough them this pc hardly lasted an year but had good parts and i spent 1000$ at that time on it.
The cpu i think is still good and 7870 could maybe run games at high what do u guys think?

A 7870 is many generations behind, you might be able to run the newest games on Medium or low, but I'm not sure about High.

The absolute best and only PSU company I can recommend is SeaSonic.

I have a SAPPHIRE HD 7850 and also the same resolution of yours. I can play most new games on medium. My CPU is the bottleneck now.

Titanfall 2 i play on medium, havent measured but probably around 45 fps. Doom demo I havent measured either but was really nice on mid settings. Dead by daylight is the slower one, can drop to 27fps on maximum sometimes (i dont think theres much fps change decreasing settings). For Honor I play on high but shadows on medium and disabling some options like special reflections, average is 60fps, minimum is 40, and the game is quite beautiful.

Still it is a aging card so more and more games it will have problem running on a good quality.

Havent played that yet, waiting for a good discount. But I saw a youtube video of a guy with the same card as mine getting great frames with it.

I am 100% positive its completely playable on medium settings. Maybe high would be a problem, cant tell.

when you say you "rma'ed all you could" what does that entail? are some of those listed parts from the dead build from two years ago, or is that list the rma replacements?

tbh if you don't know for certain the cpu still works, i wouldn't poor any more money into a replacement motherboard. really the three items you requested suggestions on besides the motherboard are pretty open for $540 for only those items, i'd probably try and squeeze in a graphics card upgrade over worrying about a replacement motherboard if the old one still works.

ahh okay.
then maybe...
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151095 (psu 59.90)
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181058 (liquid cooler 74.99)
&
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487291 (1050ti gpu 149.99)
or
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487260 (1060 gpu 239.99)

that still would leave $165.12 to $255.12 leftover for whatever case design you wanted. or you could split that leftover between case & a different motherboard. xD

tbh i don't think a warranty is necessary for psu, case, or water cooling unit. but if manufacturer doesn't warranty the gpu cards then i probably would buy that piece elsewhere that does have a warranty.

The CPU might bottleneck you some with a good graphics card, but frankly I don't know how far you're going to get with the 7870 in the first place. It was a good card in 2012, but it's not 2012 anymore.

I wouldn't recommend scrapping the build entirely; you've still got the basis for a mid-range machine. Unless the 8350 runs really hot (or you plan on overclocking) the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO would be my recommendation for a decent cooler. If the motherboard does what you need I wouldn't bother with the hassle of replacing it. I can't speak for power supplies, as I don't know what's available locally for you, and most enthusiasts would crucify me for what's in my build anyways.

i had 212 evo before it did not cut it when i gamed my cpu reached 80 c sometimes 90 which is why i think i need to for a water cooler

For water coolers I'd recommend either the Corsair H100i v2 , NZXT Kraken X61 , or Corsair H80i
They're all more expensive then good air coolers though.

Don't know anything about prices in India, but for parts suggestions:

PSU: Seasonic or EVGA would be good brand choices.
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-U12S
Case: This really depends on your aesthetic preferences, and durability concerns (will it be getting moved around a lot?)

I would upgrade the GPU too. Even a 1050Ti would perform better then what you currently have.
