IMO it is the best Daedelic game so far, although Memoria is a very close contestant. Chaos on Deponia may somehow fit in the third place, but I have to play Edna & Harvey yet to decide.

I almost suggested Edna & Harvey instead. If you enjoyed the dark humor in the Deponia series, I'd expect you'd enjoy E&H as well. :)
(If you haven't played A New Beginning, it has a great story as well, but is a bit buggy.)

I played it, but it was just mediocre. Although I plan to replay it now that I got it on Stem too.

Still Life for me. Well, the first game.
As a whole series, maybe Monkey Island if we include TellTale's, or Broken Sword if we forget BS3-4 existed.

Didn't know this one (still life). Thank you for the discovery !

Look around the Microids titles. They are slow in gameplay (characters move at the pace of a lazy slug), but the writing… Syberia II is one of the only games that actually could make me cry with its story. :)

(Still life i hesitate more because i like less polar / judicial investigation.)

I did play the first one on my pc so that can't be the reason. But maybe it wasn't ported to Steam yet (Steam was only 2 years old when the first Ankh came out).

I won The Inner World here before and it was super fun, its humour kinda reminded me of spongebob somehow.
Besides that I love TellTale so much, make every single one of their games my favorite~
Thanks for the giveaways, Broken Sword didn't really appeal to me before but I'll give it a chance now :3
