Offtopic, as we dont have software, why not make it Computer Help?

Anyway i watch some daily show stuff on dailymotion.com, used to on Firefox until it showed a white page (Edge doing the same) Google Chrome was still working until sites started to load slowly, i reset chrome (so not some cookie thing), it installed to the latest update and now i am also getting a white screen there. Anyone have a suggestion?

Edit: On mobile it seems to work fine.

Edit 2: Reply from support:

Hi x,

Thank you for your report, we are currently working on this behavior and hope to fix it as soon as possible.
Note that it might take a few days before the fix is deployed on our site.
We'll get back to you as soon as the fix will be available only.
Thank you for your patience.

Best regards, x
This email is a service from Dailymotion support.

But it stopped working on Firefox atleast 3-4 weeks ago, maybe longer, so don't know what they define as soon, and why would it still work on chrome until yesterday?

And YAY on Opera it somehow does seems want to work, i can watch videos there atleast for the time being, so 3 browsers not, but that one works? Still odd in various places.

https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/MZpKf/linelight have a puzzle game for this is a puzzle too.

Try these and check after each step:

  • Open an admin cmd and type ipconfig /flushdns
  • Restart router
  • Restart PC

Boot into Safe Mode with Networking and see if it's accessible.

Then it's very likely to be ISP related. To be sure, try with another device and the same internet connection and see if it's accessible.
This is usually solved by changing the IP but I suspect you have a static one. You can also try changing your DNS settings to use Google's DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

Just in case, do a TCP/IP reset:
open an admin cmd and type netsh int ip reset then reboot.

Test the connection from the same computer with a VPN (like Windscribe for instance) and make sure it's accessible.

So it doesn't work in any browser for you? Do you have any ad or script blocker add-ons?
I just tested it with Firefox 72.01 in a new private window and initially the page was blank until I whitelisted it in NoScript.

To test whether it is an add-on issue (though this seems unlikely if no browser works) you can start firefox with a new profile (so no cookies or add-ons). To create a new profile run firefox as follows:

firefox --no-remote -P

It doesn't work in 3 browsers, could try installing Opera worse case to try that.

I reset Google Chrome in which it removed any addons so it wasn't the case there, also i tried the thing you suggested in Firefox and i still get a white screen too.

Odd, this seem less likely to be a browser issue, but we know the site is working.
Go to dailymotion.com in any browser and then view the source for the page (in Firefox press Ctrl-U) - you should be able to see about 700 lines of html. If you can see the page source, then it's the browser at fault, if it's empty then it's likely a network issue.

It's shows about 195 lines of html.

Ha ha, I was expecting either 700+ or 0 lines! Could you pastebin the html source so we can take a look at what's different?

In Opera it even looks worse and just a big wall of lines like that.

Ok, so the difference in lines is just how the browser performs the wrapping for long lines. Check you've got the whole page, there should be a </html> tag at the end of the source.

If it's there, then you are connecting to the site, and it would seem getting the full page. Which would rule out a network issue.

I've just seen your update. So the site has acknowledged an issue - surprising that more haven't had the same problem then. I guess you are just special!

When i replied back to them it was already like this for me 3-4 weeks, got this back: Which makes it's not a common thing? Or they just give me standard answers.

Hello,
As we previous mentioned, due to the large number of tickets and the verification that needs to be made for each case, it takes longer to reach our users.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we assured that our team is doing her best to speed up this process and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

The story so far.
Can't open it after changing the browser.
It cannot be opened even if the router or PC is restarted or the IP is reacquired.

Any other thoughts?

  1. Windows 10 update changes default browser and fixes related issues
  2. Your IP is blacklisted for some reason
(In that case, TorBrowser will open it.)
  3. Router is contaminated.
(Let's check if the router settings can be opened, and make sure that the firmware is up to date. If it is old, update it.)

Sounds to me like your IP is blocked by DM. You said it works on mobile, do you access it also via router?
You can try changing your IP and see if it works.

On router, life is already expensive enough without things as monthly phone bills. :p Got prepaid and still haven't touched or used that in 4 months.

I agree with kappaking abouth the contaminated router.
Check if you have access to the router, reset it and try maybe a router scan? I think Avast can do this.
