Several parts of the site are slower for me than in the past (iirc, slowdown's been a thing ever since cg added embedded ads, regardless of whether you adblock them or not; Though I've seen more of it over the past couple of months, including timeouts on various pages over the past few weeks, something I hadn't seen before then), but the community stats page does definitely seem to be both by far the most noticable and the most consistent about it, and seems to timeout more than it actually loads.

I haven't spent too much time optimizing the personal stats page, so I'll poke around a bit today and see if I can find any areas that can be improved. I'll also be temporarily upgrading the database server for the month (starting later today), because I always send out emails to inactive users about the holiday event and the site will need additional resources for those users. That will likely result in improved load times as well, since more user data will be cached in memory.

Sorry for the offtopic, but is there a possibility we could have the old Entered page back? I really liked looking at my recently closed giveaways, but now that's impossible, because when you click "all", the giveaways are all over the place and looking for the ones that just ended is a pain. Please consider this.

Hi JohnWickTheQuick, with how the database is currently structured, I can't think of a great way to make that possible (without adding more data to the already large user entry table). It works for users like yourself that have a few thousand entries. I could also easily make it work for users that have millions of entries (which is no one). However, it doesn't work particularly well for users with 100,000 - 500,000 entries, which is a growing number of people.
The only solution I can think of is to add a third page ("Open", "Recently Closed", "All"), where the "Recently Closed" page would show closed entries, ordered by the giveaway end date, from the last 30 days.

Thank you for the reply. Recently closed would be good enough, at least for me. (Honestly though, would it really be that bad to order the "all" page by giveaway end date? 🤔)

It's a bit slow for me as well. But it's even slower on the Happy Holidays event page. The pictures on the boxes take forever to load.

Seems to load instantly for me.
Honestly just spitballing, and I don't have any clue if either of these are anywhere near what the root cause is. But maybe it's database query times? Although if it's been fine for you normally I doubt that is the case.
I do occasionally have times when SG just takes a long time to load in general, it is an issue that occurs on and off for me every several months. So maybe also just a regional webhosting/ server thing? Although if it's only the stats page then I doubt that's the case either...
