A few days ago an old school pop singer Oliver Dragojevic passed away. He was one of the legends of the Croatian pop music. He can be compared to great European pop personalities, such as Toto Cutugno, or Sergio Endrigo. Half of our region, called Dalmacija, went to a halt and this is how it looked like at the day before the funeral, taking place on one of the islands: https://youtu.be/RkeSBUlFjkU
Some people were crying, and the local football fans used the pyrotechnics in a very creative way, to say goodbye, since Oliver was a great fan of our local football club Hajduk. My generation has listened to a lot of songs by Oliver, mostly romantic ones and we can associate many parts of our romantic memories to his songs. Now its difficult not to cry when listening to his songs on youtube.
