Yes, it does. You only don't see the DRM-free copies if you got them through a gift link. The original buyer has access to the DRM-free version even if they generated a link to give away.

well i guess you can access the drm-free download before creating the gift link, but that's a strange behavior: i thought it was one “copy” of each game you could access whichever way you prefer, but that doesn’t fit with being able to give just part of it away.
