Dota 2 good game ?

Dota2 > other games of the same genre (LoL, MoH, Dota, etc.)

no its not like Mu Online. Mu Online is like Diablo 2, Dota is completely different.

I think its fun even though I suck at it and lose every match but I found out one thing I was doing wrong I was "feeding" the enemy team since I just kept charging in too destroy towers..

The game great but too many ragers especially russians (no offense) and got too many low profile bans for being 'noob'. I have never played dota 2 kinda games before but i try to play good.

if you like to play RPG this game for you, but if you like shooters and other - that no. (sorry for my bad english).

I tried it, and quite frankly found it somewhat confusing. I also dislike some of the features and the general feel of it (But that should get better). However, the interface is better (Menu).

All in all, for now, i like LoL way better.

Dota 2 is really good- if you're willing to learn and can mind the vat of acid that is a MOBA community. It feels more versatile and unpredictable than League of Legends- but is much harder to play as a result.

Dota 2's acid vat is particularly bad right now though. It's not because of the standard 'Uninstall the game noob' or 'Go kill yourself noob' dialogue though- that comes with the territory. No, Dota 2's vat is really bad because it currently has more leavers than any other MOBA I've played. Game abandonment is RAMPANT in Dota 2 right now.

Even League of Legends has fewer leavers that Dota 2- cause in Dota 2, Leavers are the norm. There is ALWAYS at least 1 per game in my experience. <_> (I've only had 3-5 games without leavers in Dota 2, ever.)

It's a pity- because other than the community, Dota 2 is really good. It's design and control definitely expect you to have experience in the genre though. So League of Legends is the better place to go if you're brand new, since its MUCH easier to play than Dota 2 is.

It's best to play this game if you have your own team/clan.

Everyone is talking about bad community but none of you mentions the right side of it. Ofc they are quite hostile to newbies, but who does not want to cry over someone with 3 recipes... BUT here is the thing, if you are actually good, and not hostile to the others by default, the community is cool. 90% of the games I play, my teammates work together, we do ganking, even most of the times people know what to pick, or the last guys pick what the team asks. It's not that bad at all, once you are a good player.

Meh, I got accepted into the Dota 2 beta...and I opened it. Immediately I was intimidated by the level of complexity; I didn't even bother to play one game. Later on that day I went back to LoL (League of Legends).

My suggestion, if one wishes to get into Dota 2, one must start with LoL and go from there.

As many people said, yes, Dota 2 is full of elitists..not everyone is, but you're bound to come across several. (Not to leave out LoL as well, because I played a PvP match and got told to uninstall the game--so it's pretty much well rounded in the MOBA community) But, LoL has an easier learning curve than Dota 2, plus you might be able to convince a few of your friends to play with you (if they don't have the game already), since it's free. Dota 2 is still in beta by invite only, so chances are, not everyone you know has it.

So, if you wish to get into the world of MOBA's, one must start with LoL, and then once you gained enough experience and confidence, then Dota 2 it is. (But by that time you'll probably want to stick with LoL)
