I was surprised even before it failed on release. Clearly Sony didn't put much effort into the game in general. It looks like a straight up Day Z clone, which is understandable given that Day Z is being developed at a snail's pace. But still, why couldn't Sony be a bit more innovative or at least show an ounce of originality?

The game-breaking stuff has been fixed within 24 hours of the Early Access going live, a day-2 patch fixed some more things and tweak stuff.
As it stands (gameplay wise) this game is already much more fun than DayZ and Infestation combined.
These airdrops are also, far from pay 2 win, I saw one coming in, ninja'd it and the guy who called it was then chasing me wielding a branch, I killed him with my axe and ran off back to my base.
I've also seen an epic battle over an airdrop between about 20 people.

Why anyone would buy this game is beyond me
It looks like a K-Mart version of DayZ and we already have Infestation formerly known as WarZ so why this?
Looks like the Devs lied What's the lesson? Don't preorder games like this kids.
