Hi! I'd like to join your WL if possible.
The game of my childhood is Prince of Persia, the old platform game. Sadly, it's not on Steam.

Can I join your WL? My favorite childhood game was Tetris. I played it so much I saw blocks in my dreams. I can still hear the theme music playing sometimes.

Well as a kid only Vietcong left a precious spot in my memory. Now there are several more games that I really like. FPS is still Vietcong only Vietcong. RTS is Age of Empire II: HD Edition. The Stanley Parable and Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy are my favorite philosophical games. The Witcher Trilogy is my favorite RPG. Best OST probably goes to The Sims 1. If you as me childhood love, I have nothing much to say but talk about Vietcong. But I did not dwell on memory as many other nice and probably older games are waiting for me to discover.

When I was a kid, I very strongly remember my first games Warcraft III, Sid's Meier Colonization, Baldur's Gate 1 and Monkey Island 1. I was lucky I found such classics just as I started playing videogames

my childhood favorite game is JRPGs ( dragon quest, final fantasy etc) ^^

When I was a kid - (yes, unlike some others out there... I read descriptions totally - I joke... but only slightly! Reading is IMPORTANT for my own whitelist!!)

Trying to pick a few genres, and really get some good ones in there and hit a few different consoles and PC: Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Final Fantasy 7 (well... 6 - 10 were all amazing!), Perfect Dark/Goldeneye 64, Doom, Pokemon Yellow, Act Raiser, Sim Ant, Super Smash Bros, Gran Turismo, King's Quest, Monkey Island, The Legend of Zelda, The Guardian Legend, Battle of Olympus, Star Tropics, Might & Magic. Too many good ones though... Probably missed some of the best ones I loved, since my memory from such a long time ago sucks + brain fog from other stuff I have going on...

I own a lot of games, so I won't be infringing a whole lot on your giveaways... Nonetheless, some much better people already answering that fit better than I do, since my RV is about the same on both fronts, despite seeming to have more giveaways than takeaways. Plus they're cooler than I am... ^___^

I had a ps2 and enjoyed Tarzan and the wrestling games of those times. And my fav all time games (altough a bit old) are Battlefield 3 and Assassins Creed 2

my first PC, i was 24... so no childhhod PC Games :-)

As a kid, well maybe Spyro. That's why I was soooooo hyped for the reignited trilogy :D

Hmm me I remember Hugo, Anno 1602, but a long time lover is Thief (1&2), got it when I was still in elementary school, cause of it I'm still hella scarred of Zombies... these 368 poly zombies are the worst.

My favorite childhood memories of gaming are the very early RTS and FPS games: Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake, C&C, Warcraft 1/2. And the first LAN/serial-cable parties with friends playing just these games...

My first games are still my favourite games. ^^
Supaplex on PC at mom's working place; Battle City with my father on Dendy (Taiwanese clone of the NES for russian market). Sleepwalker (I took a look at this one today and realised that it's much beautiful-looked in my head all these years)
Freddy the Fish with best friend, Discworld (1995) (in english, too complicated for a child, I wasn't even able to pass fist locations, but much enjoyed anyway), Heart of Darkness (1998) (my uncle helped me to pass difficult locations, then started playing the full game himself), Leisure Suit Larry (curious, how it ended up in my child's hands), The Legend of Kyrandia — so many good games ^^
