What do I get out of making a giveaway?

An erection.

I would say it's called generosity, but most people do it for Contributor points.

You know that feeling you get when you donate to charity, or give a birthday present to a friend? Yeah, it's that kinda feeling. The only thing you should be getting out of it is seeing the happiness that people feel (or at least you hope they express happiness when thanking you) when they win something.

Oh and CV too, but if you're in it just for CV alone, you're making giveaways for the wrong reasons...

Why do you have your own group with this mindset?

i spend my money for Kids they dont have the money for buying games. I was a long time ago in the same situation and a other guy simple spend me a game. Now its my Moment to pay that back. But when i see guys like you who think its funny to begging here then i start to think about that way.

Because then I can contact support and tell them that if they don't do what I want I won't make any more giveaways.

It's called GENEROSITY, but nobody taught you what that is.

Not sure if I'll be making any more giveaways. Last few people that received them couldn't even say thanks. Maybe I'll just make high-contributor giveaways; those people at least understand.

What do you get in life for doing something nice? Often nothing, or at least zero monetary compensation.

Surely you haven't gone through your entire life so far, and never done anything nice for someone else (maybe even a stranger) that didn't benefit you directly?
