It is still free, yet it isn't. Square Enix gave a link to Core Online. It's still free on Core Online, but the game can only be played in select web browsers. It gives you the first 20 minutes free. After that, however, you have to pay a small monthly fee of $2.99 USD to continue playing the games it offers.

Seriously... Hitman: Sniper Challenge is a one-mission little pre-order sample. I have it, I think I got it free.
It's worth next to nothing, why you would trade anything of any value is beyond me.

I had an extra copy of the Batman game from the sale. I was to trade it for Mirror's Edge, but the trader (separate from the accused scammer) didn't tell me that they decided to buy the game themselves (thus canceling the deal). I honestly didn't feel like selling and and really wanted Hitman Sniper Challenge. I got it pretty dirt cheap anyway, so it wasn't a huge loss. If the trader doesn't contact me within 3 days, I'll report him/her.

3 days? The guy look your key, unfriended you and won't re-add you. 100% he scammed you, no need to wait.
It's not like he is going to add you in 2 days with a key.

Basically, I was trading around for Hitman games on Steam. I got the Hitman Trilogy (Agent 47, Silent Assassin, and Blood Money). That went fine. I also traded for Hitman Absolution Professional Edition. That went fine as well. Then, I realized that I did not have Hitman Sniper Challenge. However, it is only available via a code from preordering Hitman Absolution. I decided to trade for that as well. I met a trader who offered it in return for my Batman Arkham Asylum GOTYE. I went first and gave it to him. Then he told me that he would send it to me soon and to please wait a short while. He preceded to unfriend me. I sent him a friend request, but he did not respond. I checked the Hitman Sniper Challenge page and saw that I still did not have it. I was worried that he might possibly be a scammer. I did not report him since it was a very short amount of time, and he also had 8 pages worth of positive rep. I preceded to buy a copy of a code via eBay for free (I had a coupon that covered the entire cost). After a few hours, I received the code and went to redeem it. And behold, it says that I already have Hitman Sniper Challenge 0.o I don't know how that worked, but I'm not complaining :)
