As far as I know, every M3 is a coupe. A sedan version is called M-Optik, and it's pretty much just the M3 look. Could be wrong, however.

E90 had an M3 version, without being coupe. Coupe of the same generation was E92, and that's most of the M3s you see. E90 M3 is rare, luckily my dad managed to buy one.

I personally drive a 2008 Hyunda i30, which is perfect for me as I'm 18 years old. It has 85kW, diesel engine and has a sport package which gives it a nice look. Doesn't spend too much gas, and that's why I love it.

I'm almost 18 and will be driving my father's 11/2003 Focus Estate, which is 85kW diesel, as well. I do love the car, but it's not mine.

Thus far, only two iterations of the M3 have not offered sedan versions.

Those would be the e30 (first generation) and the e46 (third generation). That is true in North America. Can't speak to the rest of the world.

But M3s most certainly have been (and are currently) offered in sedan trim.

I was mainly aiming at the E46, because that happens to be, in my opinion, the best BMW to date. The sedan versions are either M-optik or just normal, non M. Thank you, tho. Learn something new every day.

Np. e46 is a good car. I prefer the e36. But it's hard to go wrong with any iteration of the M3.

E36 is my least favorite, for some reason. It's not ugly or anything, I just don't like it. :S I like the E46, E30, E39, E60, E63 and E90. Others, not so much.
