I was hiding a bunch of games and since I was hiding a lot, I quit paying attention to the confirmation. I accidentally clicked and hid the wrong game, and didn't even know what I hid. I only noticed because the game I thought I was hiding was still there after clicking OK. The only way I could find out what I hid was to go page by page, through hundreds of pages, searching for "minute" on the page and look at each game I recently hid to find the one I accidentally clicked on. It would be nice to sort that list by date hidden to make it easier to find a game accidentally hidden.

Is this a good idea?

Yes, this would be a good idea. I have had this problem in the past and I have seen other people commenting about the same thing. The date column is already there, so I would imagine it would be pretty easy to implement.

I am very careful about hiding games now because I have almost 11,000 hidden and it would be quite hard to find one without knowing part of the name.

Here is an SG thread from a year ago asking for this with 96% of the poll wanting it.

ESGST feature 1.32 let's you sort tables by column. If you use the endless scrolling feature and then load all the pages in and sort by added ascending you should have the game there! Of course if you have a lot of hidden games this might take a toll on your machine, in which case you can load in a dozen or so pages, sort and check, and then move forward and repeat.

It's helped me out in cases like this on more than one occasion!
