I am a gold member, I did get a "festive gift" code but when I try to redeem the code it says wrong code. So I am not able to get either the credit of free game.

From what I've seen, you've got to have some kind of XP status, to start with (meaning you've bought from them at any point ever), and then you've got to get lucky on top of that- this is the first XP offer in a long while I've been able to see, nevermind participate in. The previous VIP page that XP replaced was also super finicky, as well, so not sure if there's an underlying metric (eg, VIPs/Bronze XP members have a 50% participation chance, VVIPs/Silver+ have 100%), or if the site is just that quirky. Still manages to beat out the joke that is Alienware giveaways, at least.
