may I ask why I'm blacklisted?

I assume comments in some controversial thread, arguing with people, debating politics and religion, insulting somebody, or something of the sort. Or maybe just the 5:1 CV and the autojoiny-looking GA entry count.

I can't recall doing any of that stuff and I've never used an auto join script.

+1

it still appears as if it's "Bioshock + Bioshock Remastered" however as far as the api is concerned it is just Bioshock Remastered subid that contains the additional bonus of the original.

ahh okay.. then in that case i think one of the sub id's (idk which) is new, whereas the other was the original subid.

edit:
or.... support already had bioshock 2 manually adjusted, and just haven't gotten to bioshock 1 yet.

I was told by a member of support staff that there is no 'manual adjusting' possible in this case. (I'm not naming names.)

i have no idea there... if they haven't touched it then it most certainly is due to how the api reads it though. why it is reading one properly and not the other nobody can answer though with 100% certainty.

SG only reads data from Steam API and that's the way how it's collected

Create the giveaway as BioShock™ Remastered

Problem solved.

Indeed, but surely there are a couple of hundred old giveaways, and it would be lame to have to do a ticket for every single one.

That's how SG's database works, it gets the info from Steam API so the only solution in that case is to open a support ticket and ask for a change in the APP ID for every old giveaway. In your case you only have to do it for 1 GA.

For example, it's worse when a game goes F2P, I lost hundreds of real CV because of that.

I belive they can set a value manually for cases like this.

That is what we try to do. I'm not sure if it's possible in this situation. (I'm not the one coding.)

If a game was given away as the original version, but everyone who owns the original version gets the remastered version for free, could a high level staff member change the previous giveaways to the remastered version en masse?

EDIT: I mean on a technical level. Is it possible to do?
