Landmarks Event- Europe 1, #8 Ejer Bavnehoj , Denmark- till Nov 8th!

This weeks landmark #8 is Ejer Bavnehoj which is considered the highest point in Denmark. The battle of where the highest point in Denmark continued for hundreds of years with much controversy. As far as ranking Ejer Bavnehoj in all of Europe-- it ranks the 45th highest point.

There are several mountain climbing teams that make a concentrated effort to climb the highest points in Europe. Here is a picture of a climbing team with the names of each climber on the team. You must create a list of the 8 highest points in Europe and following the clues below figure out the name of who conquered each peak from highest to lowest.

• The man with gloves colored mainly yellow climbed and conquered the peak named Shkhara.
• A climber holding a rope who is also not wearing a green jacket, rose to the highest point in the country that starts with "A" and on a peak that starts with "B".
• The girl climber (not in a red jacket) climbed to the mountain peak found in a country where rain falls mainly on the plain.
• The 6th highest point in Europe wasn't climbed by anyone because it had a gross sounding name. Thus on the list of highest peak climbers this was left simply as "6" with no name on the list.
• The climber with "R4" on their helmet arrived to the peak located in the country represented by this flag.
• The climber with a cap on (not a helmet) holding a water canteen climbed a mountain where mid-way within the mountain you will see "spit" as this climber tends to spit while climbing.
• The man in the picture not holding a pick or a rope climbed to the top of the mountain peak in Russia.
• The person with a red jacket and larger helmet video cam made it to the top of a mountain that is well-known by both a French and Italian name.
• The climber named Rebecca got sick so couldn't finish climbing the event.
