When I buy a card from the market, it becomes untradable for 7 days but if I turn it into gems, are the gems going to stay untradable or turn tradable?

gems can be used to create a booster pack, that is a pack of 3 cards. Don't wanna sound rude but buying cards to turn them into gems it's like selling notes (currency ones) for pennies :))

Well, sometimes it's necessary, because some traders reject cards and only take gems.

Yup, sell the cards at lowest sell price they will be gone very quickly. Heck, if you're desperate, even match the highest buy order and you will still get way more cash (to buy sacks with) than if you had turned them to gems. That literally takes 0 seconds and you saved tons of money.

buy beforehand, as far as you started trading on steam . You need some tradable items. You never know what a good deal you might run onto or what kind of sale gonna happened on the other part of the wold :)

Yea I thought about it but I quit trading long ago, there's just some very rare occasions when I get back into trading for a day or two, anyway thanks.
