Looks like my 4500 ish krowns won't get me anything lol. I forget how many krowns I spent on the three games I ended up winning - even if I hadn't spent those krowns I don't think I would have more than 6000-7000, if even that..

And then they cry again like last time, that less People entered the Event. They didnt wanted that and then they announce to stop it completely for sure.

They dont even try to use their Brains and think why it happens that less People entering it, cause it gets higher and higher and People save them for Months till they maybe have a chance or have no Time cause of Work and such. That they dont get it at all.

Yes, like they said:

Every 10 minutes there will be a new free game auction.
In this time window, you can bid your Ninja Krowns for the featured titled.

The highest bidder gets the game, while others get their Ninja Krowns back.

You can join as many auctions as you want, as long as you have any Ninja Krowns.
Every game will be featured multiple times over the entire Cyber Monday, but their order will be random.

Its crazy prices at the moment. I can write off this cyber event as I wont have the coins to win anything of note that I want. Congrats on anyone that does have the coins to do it though.

To put it into perspective, the dead by daylight cost 4K coins. I managed to bag Pillars of Eternity 2 before this event for 2500 coins. Its insane.

LOL, 8042 NJKs, meaning 161 days (almost 5 months and a half) worth of daily points, that roughly translates into a minimum of 1610 minutes (26.83 hours) exclusively spent to get a game.

If one had worked the same amount of time even with the minimum wage they could have bought multiple wishlisted games and still have money to spare.

It's not only about the time to press the plus button, it's also about the time spent on the event to login, to access your account, to check the list of games, details, info, the bids, the tombola, or to bid. Judging just from this thread alone, I'd say the estimate is on the short side. In the end everything adds up.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

except that, during the 5 months, you only add to click on the button, no need to "check a list of games, details, info, the bids, the tombola, etc".
So it's mostly 161 times 10 seconds during 5 months and 24 hour today.

Humans. My login info is stored on their website, so it's literally "click bookmark, click NK icon, close page". If it takes me more than 15 seconds a day to get my NK, I'd be surprised...

I actually have it on a tab that is open permanently (because if the site is not open, I'm 100% certain I will forget to open it). So for me it's literally just one click. I still have only 3.5k though, so this day has been completely uninteresting

It's hard to believe you never checked the list of games being offered, nor the bids, nor the tombola, nor their announcements, nor the discussions, nor your account to see if you won something, nor anything else. You just spent 15 seconds each day on their site for months clicking the NJK icon and that's all. LOL, let's be serious. It's getting ridiculous. All that additional time affects the average. It's not just the click that counts.

The point is that, for the last 2 months, there hasn't been any bids, tombola, annoucements, etc (we knew for a fact we had to wait till cyber monday). So no need to check for them, so no time wasted .

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I agree. But the event has been running for almost 7 months now. The point is in the end it's hardly justifiable to spend your time gathering points and wait 5-7 months to maybe have the chance at getting a game. The whole event was poorly managed in my opinion. If converted in paid time the same amount of time one allocated for this could have brought many more benefits.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

When weekly auctions were still active, yeah I was doing all that stuff and acquired five games (two from the "fastest clicker" era and three from the weekly auctions).

But there's been no need to do any of that in the past few months since they said that the next event would be today. And all I need to do otherwise is just keep an eye out for lots of activity in this thread to know something is up. :P

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I don't disagree with that. I'm talking about the whole event that it's almost 7 months old by now. The overall time spent on the event (since its beginning) adds up. Some might have spent more, others less. Particular cases can skew the results in either direction. If one converts that in paid time it might lead to surprising results depending on their region and wages. ;)

I loved Crazy Weekends in the beginning but at this point a lot better things to do with my time then to log into Kinguin for 120 days to get a $4 game! :-p
I mean who even has time to play even all the free games given out this year (ie Epic, Humble) and all the games included on Xbox game pass which most people on the forum are getting for next to nothing?

12000 NJK for a game. Well, the system is pretty much gone at this point.

Highly suspicious. With an 11800 bid the bids number kept increasing possibly suggesting bots/scripts were being used. Also 11800 means 236 days worth of points which is more than the event has been running for. This either means the event is partially rigged and one of their scripts bugged out or someone that paid a lot of money to get bonus points. But that's also suspicious because why paying a lot to get bonus points only to spend all of them on a 9€ game. Something's fishy.

Theres been a lot of bugs and gltches in the beginning and ppl could get the 50 krowns multiple times. I f.e. got 150 but only once :/

Permalink

An exploit seems plausible too but still, the blind bids number kept rising after the highest bid was placed even though obviously nobody was able to top it. That's pretty much a sign of automated behavior.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You can also get NK from spending money on the Kinguin website. 11,800 NK is the equivalent of someone spending 400 Euros. Or some combination of login credits plus a smaller purchase.

Definitely an overkill bid, though.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

True. It's also possible they're using some sort of dollar auction implementation where scripts are being used to artificially inflate the price by overbidding. It was a popular approach on various sites a while ago. Maybe one of them bugged out. :) Either way that wasn't normal behavior.
