Monster capture/taming games on Steam ? (Resurrection)

Yeah, I've played it and people have suggested it but it doesn't really fall into the category.
Because then a person can include a hunting game as well that allows a person to sedate the animal instead of killing it, since that is what a person does to capture a monster in MonsterHunterWorld.
And the pets are just home accessories, if we were to include that then a game where you catch fish and display them in a tank would also need to be included in this.

Why have I not seen the sequel to Nexomon , damnit !

You just temporarily make them fight for you or you ride them.
You don't get to say run away or fast travel then call the thing you "tamed" as such it doesn't get classified as "taming" , though I might put them in the Honorable Mentions... hmmmm

Hm there are only 2 Medabots games I am aware of for the gameboy and neither of those would fit the tags purpose.
The one medabots game was a 2d arena fighting game where you would build up your medabot and fight against others to win their parts.
The other one was more a RPG where you would have 3 medabots that you can customize and use in battle at a time, that game was bloody amazing.

Since you collect parts and upgrade your medabots there isn't really any Monster Taming going on there.

Robopon which is also a gameboy game would however fit into this tag, even though you just use robots, because you need to build new ones, evolve them and battle with them, they aren't monsters but the theme-ing is the same...

Hi TreadLife, the only "Monster Taming" elements that Monster Hunter World has is that you can capture little critters for display purposes, but with that logic a game where you can catch and mount fish to your wall would also apply then.
