Splitting 2-/3-/4-packs

I just bought a two-pack of Interloper and chosen to put it in my inventory cause I'm not sure if I'm gonna play it yet or GA / trade. But it shows up in my inventory as 1 gift (2-pack), is there any way to split them up as 2 1-pack gifts?

How is such a thing done when I already own the game and buy another dual pack? I can't give them to two seperate friends then?

You can only buy them if you don't own the game yet and you get the second gift only by activating it.

Theoretically, you could hope the winner is a nice person and returns the second copy (if it's a whitelist giveaway for example),
but there's nothing to actually make them return it (besides the fear of losing the whitelist?).

I was in the same situation yesterday ^_^
