Trine series.....and everything Frozenbyte makes, as it is also a finnish company

Remedy's Alan Wake series and Max Payne 1-2 (Finnish), Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham series (British), Core Design's Tomb Raider 1-6 (British), Egosoft's X Series (German), Digital Reality's Imperium Galactica series (Hungarian), Mithis' Nexus: The Jupiter Incident (Hungarian), 4A Games' Metro 2033 (Ukranian), Katauri Interactive's King's Bounty series (Russian), CD Project RED's The Witcher series (Poland), Illusion Softwork's Mafia series (Czech), Introversion's Darwinia, DefCon and Uplink (British), Frozenbyte's Shadowgrounds and Trine series (Finnish), Digital Illusions' Battlefield and Mirror's Edge series (Swedish), Konami's Metal Gear Series (Japan), Related Design's Anno series (German)
And the list goes on and on. Actually many of the well known franchises are made outside the U.S.A. Many of the developers are also non U.S. based. Only the publisher is American in most cases (And they love to screw franchises over and over again. See: EA - We screw everything & Activision - We follow Bobby "Uncle Scrooge" Kotick's philosophy.).

There are good U.S. games, such as Deus Ex 1, System Shock 1-2, Wing Commander series or the original Command and Conquer games, but unfortunately most American companies, mostly the publishers are rather making copy-paste games, conveyor belt quantity sequels and stupid reboots instead of creating something new. And these days Americans also fill their games with "Politically correct" brainwashing bullshit messages, just as they're turning every legend to a politically correct liberal propaganda (Such as spanish-afro american Spider Man, gay Green Lantern, Mass Effect gay and lesbian storyline, while they were unable to give a proper ending as this was more essential, to spread the usual liberal bullshit, etc, etc...).

See, OLD games were good or at least better!
The new "educational & correct" games are still good games, i just hate that finger pointed at me, saying "you have to be like that" or "this is evil" blablah...
If i want a gay hero, i play gay hero - a$$ edition!
So yeah, they spend way too much time in being "correct" and adding possibilities almost noone wants (except maybe 2% of all people aka the gays / lesbians - that is an more or less official number btw) instead of polishig the game with the time they would win by deleting that crap!

Actually it was a great example. I'm an author and I can tell if they would spend just half time with this politically correct BS, they would have enough time to write a proper ending, instead of these half-baked, out-of-nowhere, baseless endings. But as they stated in multiple interviews that the writer spent most of the time to create a politically correct approach for the romantic relationship and they had no time to create a proper ending, make your own conclusion. This was one of the primary reasons for those BS endings. Politically correct BS got a priority over the whole storyline. And in this profession, it's a serious mistake (Usually rookies or complete idiots commit it. And as we know one of the writers of Mass Effect, Jennifer Hepler, she is a complete idiot based on her behavior who had no connection to game writing, but her priority was to include a gay / lesbian propaganda in the most successful sci-fi game.).

Well guys... you do must to keep in mind that only that matters in international buisness is income. If they have profits and buisness goes well if they are located in USA - that's awesome for them. If profits will grow if they will open a new studio somewhere else - it's awesome for them. Otherwise there wouldn't this amount of production located in China while the rights belong to companies all over the world. What makes any product american, european, asian? Location? Rights? Nationality of workers? You can't get a simple answer as long as this is not a simple question.
Humanity no longer trapped inside any borders. Buisness is international and transnational.
