Ok I'm at 7/9 i finally decoded the message after finally finding a good font to actually see what is what but hmm still have to find out what the machine produces..

I think I found out what language it's supposed to be but I can't find any sort of alphabet for it to decode it. And I don't understand the writing clue.
Just thinking here, am I supposed to use a spell? Since the one I found that matches best both the code and the description is not able to be translated on purpose.

Yeh the language is REALLY hard to get a font for, i managed to find one so if you search hard enough you probably could as well.
I translated the whole note but i don't know how it has to do with what the machine could produce, that's where i'm stuck at right now, my guess is that maybe it's about something after?

I think I'm going crazy bc of this language/font. I've tried to do everything I could without it but I just keep getting stuck on it. Plus the chest is HARD.

Chest isn't that hard. One of the hints above about the chest should make you able to find out out what you need to do with the chest.

maybe you got the wrong one? I know i found 2 things that helped me, the first didnt have everything, the second i could even type to see what is what. my guess is you found the first one, btw sorry to be i guess saying hints, sometimes and answearing so quickly, it's just that i still am unsure on what it produces and am just staring at this thinking lol, sorry if i shouldnt.
EDIT - Ok I def think I needed to read the note to be able to find the what it produces cause i just found out, I still don't see where that clue comes in, heck I don't even know what that clue is about.

I arrived at the same point, and bruteforced it. It didn't take long to make reasonable guesses about those single characters, but you do need to understand the last four.

Figured out those ones, but the last four I have the translation but it's more that I don't understand what it means. It has to be right, I've tried literally everything else. I've scoured the web too, but I can't find anything about this stupid word.

I have to admit that I spent a lot of time sitting next to the alchemical machine. It took me a whole day to figure out what the machine produces. Ah, post-weekend brain...🥴

Any chance of an additional clue with the chest without spoiling it? It seems to be one of the simpler puzzles but I am having absolutely no luck with it.

Hmmm. I have found the items from valfaris and ambassador. Getting dead links when I try to use them. Do I maybe need to find an additional potion for the math to work? If so, do I need to use the translated note or just freeplay aka google formulas with the other goodies? I have some ideas about the alchemical machine but don't really know how/what format to answer. I suspect it relates to lines 5-7 of the translated note?

I think. I was using the dark cave number multiplied by the items found in those giveaways. Also tried multiplying with the other potion that got me through the cave the first time. Figured maybe I needed an additional item or two for full prep battle link?
Still not sure how to proceed with the alchemical machine. Is my thinking on that in the right direction?

Edit: Found them! Tried the same thing but got a different result 🤯. I don't know what was wrong first time.

Got the answer. However i am still struggling after it, even after i tried everything normally possible, twice.

Since i did it the hard way, i have slight incomplete detail information regarding what is at the end of each line at the bottom of the script. Reading from fellow users here, they've had the same issue, but appears they've been able to progress. I've tried "everything" that is realistically possible, but didnt get past the french door.
