Steam changes language every time I get there from Google?

Every time I search for something on Google and end up on the Steam forums, it changes language and I see all the page in Japanese or some other weird language and I have to locate the drop down menu and switch back to English

anyone else have this issue?

thanks, yeah I know how to change language back, but its annoying and sometimes I lose the page I was on
