Makes sense to people who know about the games. X / Y and Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire are the games, and Mew, well, it is a Mew for those games.

Unfortunately, the codes are only active for July. I'm guessing Hyoshi decided to dump them fast while they still work.

The redemption can be locked to one of four region zones. Though a bunch of counties get grouped in with either North America or Europe.

yep, but it was less about region locking and more about hardware limitations. NTSC was 525 lines at 30fps, and PAL did 625 lines at 25 FPS

That isn't 3DS regions. NZ and Aus are in one of the 4 by themselves (for digital stuff anyway, we can use the same physical copies as Europe), Japan is a second region, and most other countries are part of the other two.

Said "Code cannot be used." I don't know if they've been used already or region-locked, but I'm from Canada and I think the codes would work in Canada if they were from the US, so they might be Russian only or something. .-.

Already used or entered incorrectly. Canada was within the redemption region for these codes.
