playfire? what's that?

So, recently I heard about something called playfire as a means of getting money for GMG. Could I get an explanation as to how I get these funds from the system?

Go to GMG>Make an account>Login to Playfire with your account info>Link your Steam Account to your Playfire Account>Be lucky to find anything to earn from achievements on anymore.
