There's a special Dragon / Fairy type Pokemon you get if you have a BETA save on your comp. Here's the steps:
--Go to their tumblr account below
--Download the beta from the Google drive link titled [Drive] (the [MEGA] is a dead link) and run it
MINI STEP: if you run into an issue where the game says you do not have the required fonts installed go to Pokémon Uranium BETA 3.1\Pokémon Uranium-MAIN- 3\Fonts and right click on each font file there and click install then restart the BETA game
--Save as soon as you get through the intro and are in your bedroom
--Start the 1.0 full version and load your previous save you made in the BETA version and you'll get a prompt telling you about the transfer and where to get your promotional Pokemon

OH man! I haven't played real pokemon game since 2008, after I graduated high school, I stopped.

Grab it while you can, Nintendo likes to put an end to projects like these quickly. (see also metroid2remake.blogspot.com/ )

So far, it's a pretty neat game. Impressive to see such an ambitious project actually being completed. One bug broke the game though, I was browsing the Pokedex and my entire game froze with an error message. :(

I haven't played a Pokemon game since Blue, and with Pokemon GO blowing up lately it's been making me want to play it again. I've been wanting to and failing to find anything similar to play on PC until now.

Thanks a lot for posting this before Nintendo sues them into dust. I really wish Nintendo would give up on consoles so the rest of us could buy their games.

what do u need to play it? dumb question maybe but i wasnt much into this kind of pokemons but looking to try this one

Anyone else having trouble with launching the game now? Launching the game normally causes horrible framerate so I launch from the Patcher which seems to resolve this issue, but now when I launch the patcher it hangs without confirmation, the news log says "This page can't be displayed" and if I try to launch it it says "Unable to start application. Wait for the patch process to complete".

It seems that the patch info is pulled from their website, but since the website is down it won't launch at all. I hope this is only a temporary issue...

EDIT: Moments after posting this comment I tried launching the game normally as administrator and this resolved the framerate issue. Neat.
