Dude,
"BUT WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T SIGN IN!"
This is simply not true. I am sure this person is trying to get your information to give you cards and games.
By the way, just few hours ago a Steam friend got hacked and lucky for him he lost only CSGO items that went for about 1 euro while he had about 70 euro worth of cards. Got about 5 messages from him directing me to Google Drive so another thing to watch out.

This is nothing new. I get like 2-3 of these hijacker adds every day. If they have like one or two games total, I don't accept. If they have a private profile, I don't accept. If I haven't been posting any trades on TF2 outpost or steamtrades, etc, then I don't accept. If I have been posting trades and they don't have enough in their inventory to let me know they are a real trader (able to afford what I am selling), then I don't accept.
And MOST importantly, I never click on links from strangers.

I got 27 invites from hijacked accounts in an hour two days ago, seems pretty random. I go for days without one, then bang, along come tons of them. :P

"Commenting in an old thread would be acceptable if you had some new relevant information regarding its topic"
I think it is relevant and maybe helpful for someone! Admins should close old topics if they do not want that users comment in it.
Why better a comment in 5 month old topic than a 4 years old?

What did you say that was relevant in any new way? There have been dozens of such threads saying the same exact thing during this time and people are still falling for it just like spam emails promising riches. If you don't get why people might want responses to their recent posts rather than years old ones, I suggest you go through https://www.google.com/search?q=why+is+necroing+on+forums+bad

I understand. Never do that, I promise.
Dear Admins! Please delete my comments and lock this topic as soon as possible! Sorry for my miserable failure!
Advice: It is a big help for users if they saw some warning BEFORE send new comment in an old thread!

I have recently got a friend request from a random person I don't know. I accepted the request though wondering who this is. A few hours later he sent me a message saying "sup my bro wanna trade with you but he can't add you idt why @_@ try you please to add him (LINK HIDDEN FOR SAFETY PURPOSES)" as you can see the link is a scam as it is spelt wrong. It sends you to a website that looks exactly like steam BUT WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T SIGN IN! The person behind this is obviously trying to scam people handing over their steam account, looking for someone who has saved their credit card on their profile.
I have been getting a lot of links like this lately. Just warning people again not to click any suspicious links and watch out for scammers.
