Hi guys..

I've been going around the list of deals from Amazon's Black Friday Event. I've come up with a few titles that I'm interested in, I'd like you guys to help me out if you know some about them and what would you pick from those..

  • Assassin's Creed 3 (7.49$ or 14.99$ for Deluxe, Steam) .. Not worth it
  • Far Cry 3 Deluxe + Far Cry 3 : Blood Dragon (14.99$, Uplay) still unsure about that one.. I got a week to think about it.. kinda sad I already own Blood Dragon on Steam and this is Uplay only.. no giveaway.
  • Crysis 3 Complete (9.99$, Origin) .. I'll wait and grab that same deal using a 5$ credit in January (fingers crossed on that one)
  • Kingdom of Amalur Complete (8.49$, Origin) .. Bought since I know it's worth 50+ hours
  • BulletStorm (4.99$, Origin) .. Bought this.. there's something that intrigued me in that game and they're gonna have to drop GFWL soon since what I received is an Origin Key and it also nets me a 5$ credit for January. Worth it in my book

I got my hands on AC4 and I'm a noob at AC games (it's my first AC) but I really enjoy this one. Is AC3 worth it and if so is the Deluxe edition worth the jump from 7.49$ to 14.99$ (it's basically the season pass included)? What else do you think of these deals.. help me decide plz :P

BTW I personally don't care about Steam, Uplay, Origin (No more though)

Thanx for the help :D

No AC3 then.. won't stand a chance against what I can put into AC4.

Is Syndicate Even worth 5$ ? I loved the old 90s Syndicate.. relevent ? Nay on Syndicate then

AC3 isn't worth it. If you want to try out another AC game I'd recommend going back to Brotherhood. Your other three titles seem like solid choices though. I'm going to go through the sales and see if anything else jumps out at me.

^This, only, both AC and AC II are way better than Brotherhood, so I'd recommend those.

AC1? Most people say it's boring piece of shit.

Yeah, its gameplay is quite worse than the sequels', but what happens around Altair is... "unique". And honestly, the graphics aren't that much worse than AC2 and BH.

The problem is AC and AC II are a bit dated at this point. I thought Brotherhood was just as good and in a newer engine.

AC3 isn't worth it that bad ? I can get AC3 for 7.49$ or AC3+Season Pass for 14.99$ compared to any other older AC title for 13$ a pop.

The fact AC3 is more recent and on the newest engine should be a decisive point too.. no ?

It definitely isn't for me. It's a game where I literally don't give a damn about the character I'm playing, I only finished it just because I wanted to know what happens to Desmond. The first game has way more interesting dialogues, and the second one has a charismatic main character, a very interesting plot and some "side challenges" (related to Desmond's "story") that I find terribly fascinating.

Well, there's a reason why AC3 costs less then earlier games :P

Really, it's that bad. Poor setting, poor character, overall boring game and add to that really poor quality of port. And since you didn't played earlier AC games, you don't need to know how Desmond story ends. Only good thing in it are ship fights - hence AC4 focusing on boats.

It really isn't. I was trying to play it a few weeks ago, and I was just not having any fun. The game is extremely buggy with dull characters and a boring setting. Brotherhood is simply a far better done game. The game is only a little over two years old now and not dated at all while AC3 I struggled to find any enjoyment in. The only area that AC3 excels is the navel combat, but since you have Black Flag it really isn't worth picking up for that alone.

If Crysis 3 HE is cheaper than Complete Pack, then get just HE. The DLC is multiplayer only, and it basically never played.

Only that deal on Crysis 3 on Amaazon. 10$ for Crysis 3 isn't bad even if the DLC isn't that great. Those Origin only games are harder to find deals on.

Is Crysis 3 SP really only 10 hours or less ?

Your list is pretty cool. I got Kingdom of Amalur complete as well. But I don't think it is really complete since it doesn't have weapon and armor pack DLC. But still, it is worth the price and weapon and armor thing doesn't effect the gameplay. Crysis 3 complete is simply worth more than that price, however, the multi player is pretty dead for now, so basically you buy it for single player campaign. But the price is solid, if I didn't buy it months ago, I will pick this one up. farcry 3 deluxe + blood dragon IMO is solid for that price but I don't have it so I cannot tell you more about it. AC 3 is so attempting for me, deluxe edition should have all DLC and some extra bonus as well. I am also thinking of getting it.

If you like strategy, The Command and Conquer collection will be 7.50 (on the 28th) and the Total war Grand master collection will be 30 (on the 2nd). Also look at the Firaxis Pack which is just 20 right now.

I already got the C&C Collection before for 9.99$ ... 7.50$ for this is a no brainer for any Strategy and RTS fan :P

Yeah, I got it for 10 bucks as well. $7.5 is way too cheap for a bunch of classic RTS. I pretty enjoy first red alert games. With intro, I know what all missions are for but rad alert intro videos are cheaply filmed. Missions in those games are epic but those videos just ruined the feelings.
