Not like it's a hypercommon game that's so cheap a good percent of active lurkers have it anyway, possibly one that was even given away for free - heh, I know, it just sounds ridiculous for an AAA game to be given away, but still. Right?

It's pretty much a tradition here to give Metro keys for free. Since most of us got them for free. Even if you wanted to make a giveaway out of it, you couldn't because it is removed.
