If, like me, you have no interest in a multiplayer demo, where solo campaign and some multiplayer modes have been removed, don't forget to pause or cancel your monthly sub.
For my part I unsubscribed totally and I feel good :)

Funny thing is that I never subscribed to Humble Monthly. Then a few days ago I thought "Well, I should try it out, there were some cool games in the past". I started reading about how Humble Monthly works and since I saw CoD, I'm pretty sure that I want to wait for next month. :D

I just hope that I don't miss on any good games this month though.

For 12 bucks i am pretty sure you will find some games to enjoy in every bundle no matter what. My taste is pretty limited on games but there was never a bundle with nothing that i would play.

There have been a couple that I didn't get my $12 worth out of due to my limited tastes, but I agree, it's rare to say it was a complete waste.

Of course there are always exception but its not very common and even if a month doesnt suit my taste i will find some friends to giveaway those games. The amount of value that i get each month is great at least for me so i can stand a few months like that.

Last month was horrible for people who dont like indie or pixel games.
Origins as early unlock was great. But rest of the bundle was complete disappointment if you wanted something different.

Not saying it was bad. But disappointing and definitely not "something for everyone"

Even if you are not a fan of indie pixel games buying origins for 12 bucks is a great deal as the historical low price is 15 bucks and this sale is happening right now. A month ago the historical was even higher. Everything elseon the bundle is just some extra bonuses.
If a month ago steam had origins on sale for 12 bucks i am pretty sure the majority of customers would be really happy with that sale considering how new the game is and its already offered for such a great price. Add 7 extra games on that price as a bonus and you got the previous monthly.
Of course some people may see a bundle as a disappointment but the value is always great and for the most part you will find some games to play to get your money back.

Oh, I dont argue about that. It had a good value and I have already 33 hours played and havent finished the story so definitely got my moneys worth.
It just feels rather disappointing when comparing to other monthlies. I always got 2 or 3 games I really liked and had some good titles for GA.. This time I have only Origins and everything else is not really that interesting.

Yeah i see your point. The best month for me was november as all of those games were on my wishlist and the most disappointing month was march but i undestand why they try to put completely different games each month. Maybe if they try to put different games each month and not mostly from one or two categories would work better.

If your talking about the latest march and november then I can agree. November was good for me as well. And didnt even get march. Id be glad to win them but am happy I didnt buy that one.

Now that Im checking out which ones I bought - beginning of 2018 was good for me. I got about 12 highly wishlisted titles from 4 months of bundles. But the best one for me seems like the first one I bought - may of 2017 (it had : Rudebear, Inside, Dirt rally,This is the police, The Turing test, metrico+ in it. Only Undertale and Gonner where the only titles I didnt play)..

And to be honest I bought bunch of monthlies in late 2017 and through out 2018... 2019 seems to be lacking for me, as now I am buying as much bundles as I skipped previously.. Who knows - IGN changed things or they are just running short on deals to put in monthlie.. but for me it has definitely lost appeal

Just noticed - January of 2019 was very good for me as well. Seemed to be a great start for a year, but sadly was the first and last of which I liked

Actually for me its the exact opposite as the only bundle i didnt like of 2019 was the one from march, everything else for the most part is right for my taste. But i wont be surprised if the games that end up on monthly get worse and worse each month as grey markets are killing the profits of the developers. At least thats what i think will happen if humble doesnt find a solution with retrading keys.

There was actually a leak; with Forager, Gris, Sunset Overdrive, Yuppie Psycho, We the Revolution, and Kingdom Two Crowns being in the bundle this month. Of course, I'm just joking

Unsubscribed months ago. They've been mostly offering crap for the past half year.

Surprised there haven't been any additional games revealed.

It would have taken something special to make me unpause, but it might have tipped a few people into remaining subscribed.

mhmm, I only subbed this month due to HB giving me 50% off voucher for it, so I couldn't resist.
Hoping for awesome cute little indie games.

I paid full price, but traded mine copy of COD and got 4 keys. That means I only paid ~4 euro for it, I can't imagine that it wouldn't be worth it at the end

Surprised there haven't been any additional games revealed.

Was just thinking that myself when I checked the bundle thread for it.

But perhaps it's just so popular (outside this forum, at least) that they haven't felt the need to reveal anything else, or maybe the reveals aren't going to be all that thrilling (or at least not thrilling enough to draw potential buyers). I'm going to try and remain optimistic, and hope for at least one really good game.

I think that's good. Better this way than complain that games are bad this month. Next month can always be something nice!

Yeah thanks also. I had paused as soon as the monthly was announced, but then unpaused to take advantage of the 10% off during the sale. Now I paused again - and they didn't even try to bribe me this time!

Am I wrong, or isn't the auto-charge day the last Friday of the month?
Paused anyway...

Yes is the last Friday of the month.
The title says "...last days..." and I understood "last day" the first time when I saw this thread.

And just to spite us all, there will be an actual good game in the reveals.

Extra PSA: don't forget to also revoke automatic payments from your payment provider's settings, as apparently they are not strangers to arbitrarily reactivating cancelled/paused subscriptions just moments before the autocharge date, and treating it like it's YOUR fault for not double-checking.

I would have paused my sub too, but got 5 keys for Black Ops. Can't imagine that the rest of this month isn't worth $2.

Thanks. 3rd month in a row I'm pausing. And I didn't regret it after the reveals either.

They'd better step it up. One more month with that kind of unlocks and I'm canceling altogether.

I heard of people pausing a month and getting a $2 or $3 coupon off their next monthly purchase, I personally did not see this when I paused. I even checked my email address and no sign of one there. Maybe this was for people who had made a yearly subscription but I had it by month. Anyone know about this?

I'm also subscribing month by month and got $3 off when I paused one or two months ago. Maybe they simply don't offer any such coupons this month.
